News

Starting last Monday, professor Ginia Goggio and son Cole, have been leading the American Culture Camp at the American Corner in Struga.

This is an initiative by Macedonia Schools Project, in cooperation with the local primary school Josip Broz Tito, within which twenty students from this school, from both Struga and Radozda, are taking part in one-hour activities on a daily basis for the duration of two weeks. The content is based on the popular American show ‘The Simpsons’, a satirical depiction of working-class life and a parody of American culture and society, television, and the human condition. Through a selection of episodes, the activities raise the awareness about topics, ranging from the importance of family to feminism, and are combined with fun, engaging activities, such as making soda rockets and playing kickball.
