Information for Donors

The Macedonia Schools Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The MSP’s primary goal is to enhance the classroom experience of Macedonian students and teachers. For the purpose of achieving this goal, the MSP raises funds for supplies and equipment. See the Wish Lists tab for examples.

The funds we raise are provided to the schools through mini grants. MSP requires receipts for all purchases. In addition, we ask schools to provide photos of the equipment in use. Donors may select one of two ways in how their contributions reach the schools.

Competitive grants through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process

MSP school liaisons coordinate with school directors and staff to respond to the annual RFP. Schools may submit more than one grant proposal for consideration. A committee made up of MSP board members familiar with the schools will select the best proposals for funding based on classroom need.

Dedicated grants

Donors may direct donations to specific schools or school clubs, for specific projects or materials. In coordination with school liaisons, the MSP will provide funds as specified by donors. MSP will report progress to the donors if requested.

Potential donors are encouraged to discuss possibilities with MSP President, Tom Lineham at 1- 360-977-2237 or via email at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
